Might want to look at the warn 2000 lbs winch, its exactly like the 2500 lbs winch from warn but it draws less power so the motor doesn't run as hard. The 3000 lbs is a different winch. I'm guessing you can find a fairly cheap warn 2000 lbs winch now that there are 2500 and 3000 lbs winches all over the place. The 1500 might just not cut it, the 2000 will more than likel will.
Also you can buy a pulley, it will double the pulling power of the winch but you loose half the distance you can pull and it makes the winch twice as slow.

Don't get a superwinch, unless you are sure you have the right mounting plate in hand. Some people have had to fabricate their plates themselves.
The Warn A2500 kit comes with a vastly superior wiring and relay setup. It allows you to use a small switch instead of the huge "switchosaurus" that is bulky and needs a big hole in your plastic to mount it.
I would never suggest to anyone to get an A2000 kit after seeing how nice the A2500 kit is. Take a look at my nice easy to use winch switch. You decide if you think it is worth the extra cash. But for me, I love the warn contacter on the A2500 kit.

My Warn 2000 has stalled out numerous times when I didn't think I was stuck all that bad. You definitely don't want to skimp in the winch area.

My dads warn 2000 dus the same thing all the time. I had a super winch 1500 ( selling) on a explorer 250, which is a 500 + pound quad with all the fluids. I was on it, up past the tires in nasty goopy mud and it never gave me a problem.
