quick question about a scrambler 400

Default quick question about a scrambler 400

i'm installing a new head and the instructions say "remove water plug drain plug" which sounds like a typo, but anyway where is the water plug? i have a clymer manual on the way i just wanna get crackin as soon as possible though

There is a drain **** on the bottom of the radiator, that is what I used. Or just remove the bottom hose at the base of the motor.

Default quick question about a scrambler 400

The stock head has a screw on top that is used for bleeding the air out of the coolant system.It is located on top toward the front of the head.

CED your scramy is the most awsome custom i've ever seen.... great job! I was in aw the first time i saw the pictures. Did you relocate the back brake to beside the foot peg? Very interesting. Thank you guys for your help!

Thank's for the compliment paco.In 96 the back brake was mounted right there strait off the transmission.

does it work better than the rear axle mounted ones

It does the job,but it's hard to beat the brake on the axle.I wish mine was on the axle.
