Default scrambler 400 wont idle

my scrambler 400 has a hard time idleing alot of the time even after its warmed up. ive turned the idle screw as far as in as i can and it still does it. is there anyway to easily shorten the throttle cable or something to pervent this from happening. all i have to do to keep it running is barely touch the the throttle. anybody know any fixes?

I had the same problem on my trailbosss. Basically there is too much play in the throttle and you have to take out most of the slack by pulling apart two rubber covers that sit over the little threaded adjustment. Just mess around with the adjustment until you have only a very small aount of slack left in the throttle. I also messed with the idle screw but its really not necessary.
