Just thinking about it before I go deeper into the motor. I eventually will do that but wanted a head start so I dont have to fork out alot of dough at once.

 

Well, that was my plan too but Sparks Racing has been giving me the run around for over 3 weeks. Coming up with bullsh!T excuses as to why they haven't shipped my carbs yet. 4 times I've been told they would be here on a certain date and 4 times they haven't showed. Not once have they called to tell me they didn't get shipped when they were supposed to. Nice customer service huh? I had to call each time to find out why they hadn't showed up. The best part is they charged my credit card $809 on the 7th of this month and I still don't have squat to show for it. Today when I called I was the last straw. Supposedly now they don't have the right intake manifold for them and they either have to fab some or wait 2 months to get them in. So I said F Sparks, put the money back in my account and cancel my order. IF YOU GET FCRs I WOULDN"T GET THEM FROM SPARKS.

Wow, thats where I was going to go. Since I am local, I will drive out there next week and see whats up.

 

Just remember those FCR's don't bolt-up very easily...
I got my stock intakes to work...different clamp
They could be jetted to work appropriatly with your motor

 

While you're there. Tell them to send my cylinder back before I die of old age.
