its ur battery is dead that just happened to me like a week ago i think u can go to the dealer and have them check ur battery to see if it is good or not. i would trickle charge it first tho and go from there.

well I think there should be a solonoid on the wolv....hmm, i can go look.....on my 2001 it looks like the solonoid is under the left hand rear fender. Look under your seat and follow the red cable till you find it on yours. I would first lightly tap the solonoid with a hammer or screwdriver handle, etc. If that doesnt fix it, you can expose the terminals on each side and jump them with a screwdriver. Of course check the tightness of the connection first. On the wolv there seems to be a junction box under the seat to feed the lights and such and the starter power doesnt go through it.

bmwm5ive,
yeah i too believe its just a low battery because mine done the same exact thing. the deal w/ mine was it had enough power to run the lights, just not enough umph to crank the witch over.

Anytime you get a buzz or "ticking" sound when hitting the starter button...your battery is very LOW...almost dead. It has enough juice to power the lights, but not enough to turn the starter motor.
