After taking my '03 700 to the dealer 4 times in 9 months for a coolant leak, now leaking engine oil out the waterpump weephole. Took it to the dealer and told them enough is enough. Texas lemon states 4 times in a 12 month period to qualify as a lemon. I have also been talking to the customer service supervisor for Polaris and I will hopefully be getting a new machine. I was wondering if anyone has delt with this situation before, also if I get to choose another machine should I get another 700 or switch to a 500 H.O. I really love my 700 as far as everything goes except for the coolant problem.

What is the build date on your 03 700? I'm thinking it must be an early build date, I haven't heard of many problems on the 03s. I haven't had a single problem with mine, but it one of the later build dates.

The production date is 6/27/02, my exwifes birthday. I figured that since this unit didn't have the water pump update it had to be a leftover '02 model. The dealer had changed the pump a number of times, pump housing, plate between the pump housing and the block, and finally the shaft that drives the pump(had .030 runout). Now its leaking oil out of the pump, and I told the dealer I want a new machine not my money back.
