With a possible soon to be released new Green Machine I was wondering what most people would like to see. The rumor is that it is a stroked version of the KLX300 equalling 400cc. This sounds like a great bike and this is the bike most people in the Yamaha forum wish Yamaha would do with the YZ426. This quad sounds good to me but, I would love to have a KX500 motored quad with great handling and suspension. Or a KLR 650 motored quad (and keep the machine middle-wieght, not like the Bombadier). Most of all keep a style similar to the Tecate-4. Hey the 400EX is simialr to the 250R. These quad are only my preference because in the dunes/drags there is no replacment for displacment. But I know many would prefer the KXF250 (which sounds good) or even the 400 thumper, and I admit they are the choice for most MX/TT and CC racing. What ever it is I would like to here your comments. Hey maybee we can sent the thread to Kawasaki (would be nice if they would listen). I bet we could come up with at least five new quads.

I would love to see them bring back a KXF250 2 stroker!!!! That little sucker would hold it's own without a bit of problem! You can attest to the greatness of your Tecate can't you? I wouldn't want to see just another 400cc 4 stroke on the market. You know it would be overpriced and really not worth having. But on the other hand when I'm topped out in 5th and wishing for more power from my Mojave I wouldn't mind having another 150cc's under the hood. But, in the long run I would like to see the KXF250!

P.S. Hey 4Tecate, How close is Milan from Ann Arbor?

Ride on my brothers!!!

I'm a 4-stroke fan, I would like to see something in 400-500cc. I've ridden a couple 400ex's and that size seems right for trail ridding. But of coarse it should be better then the Honda in every aspect, HP, suspension travel, Quality (that's a given) lighter. Elc. start, reverse would be optional. Hopefully soon. Team Green

my dream kawasaki would be a 2001 KXF650 2 stroke running in the 60-70 hp range and with about 11-13 inches of travel with the styling of the tecate (they are cool looking)and paddles optional.

I race and there fore I would like to see a Tecate 4 style quad with about 13" of suspension travel in the front and about 11" in the back. I would like to see it be about 45" wide, have the same wheel base as an 88 250R honda, have an adjustable axle standard, 21x7x10 front tires, and 20x11x9 rear tires on aluminum wheels. I would like to have about 45 horse power stock and have a spark arrestor so I can use it to go trail riding. And for once I would like to see quality handelbars, chain, sprockets and grips. Thats what I want and what I would expect from Kawie.

I would like to see a counter-balanced KX500 motor in a chassis simular to a 250R or a KLX650 motor into the same type of chassis. I would want EFI, a motor like Cannandales(removable tranny, intake in front), alum. frame, factory beadlocks, fully adjustable shocks, and different colors for around $6 grand.
