oil light comes on after going thru deep water

Default oil light comes on after going thru deep water

is this normal... After hitting deep water(1ft) hard a few times.. my oil light will come on for a few minutes... after driving it dims then goes back off, I've checked my oil.. plenty in there.. just changed a month ago

??

yes i have noticed this too, is there some wires maybe shorting out cause of the water? this should not happen.

I've never heard of it, but I highly reccomend dielectric grease in as many of the connections as you can pull apart, if you're going to play hard in the water...WAM

I had the same problem with mine. Went to work and dielectric greased up all the connectors i could find as i was also getting a sputter once in a while from the ignition wires getting wet. After i did that no more problems.
