Default PLEASE HELP, Is this a good price for a Scrambler?

2000 Polaris Scrambler 400 4 X 4 Like New!

This is for a slightly used 2000 Polaris Scrambler. This unit has less then 100 hours of use. It is 400 cc engine, with the electronic 4 X 4 system. Base Horse Power is 37. It has had only 1 modification; a HPD Trail Pipe. This is an excellent all around pipe. Produces 7 to 9 more peak horsepower. Good low end with excellent mid and top. This pipe was an extra $205

I also have talked to him & he had said even the original tires still have nubs on them. He was telling me there is no scratches on the front, only on the back & is tiny.

So he would sell it to me for $3500
Then there might be a shipping charge, He s finding out now.
So do you guys think this is a good price?!?!

Any Help Is Good Help!!

yes it is because we bought a 1999 400 4x4 scrambler for 3400 all stock a 1/2 year ago and it had a flat tire and tires were worn out.

i got my '99 400 4x4 in real good condition a couple of months ago stock, exept for aluminum wheels, for $2500. The kelly blue book value of a 2000 400 4x4, good condition, is $3710 and the trade in value is $2540.

not trying to start problems or anything, but consider buying a yamaha. very highly recomended by me... and for what its worth, if your going to buy that polaris, it does sounds like a good deal. I had a 99 400 a year ago, bought that for 4000. so yeah I would say, if your going to "waste" your money on a polaris, then go for it!

Hey NYC, I had mine shipped with Forward Air. They were kinda a$$holes and my crate was slightly damaged, but, I got it in 2 days. I wouldn't really suggest them but they are a choice. Mine was shipped form Tennesee to Michigan for $300, that included the seller crateing it. You may be able to find a trucking company for cheaper. They may even deliver it to your door. I had to drive to Detriot and pick it up at the terminal near the airport. Do a search on the net for shipping companies and see what ya get. Good luck
