Looking at a set of mud tires for my rubicon. Was wondering between the 26" gators and 26" titan 589's, which would have better handling and easier steering? 50% mud/swamp riding and 50% trail/hardpac. Any suggestions would be helpfull.

 

Kick a gator (Mud Bug) and then kick a Titan 589.

If you want a tire that still has some give for the hardpack then I say get the Gator. If you don't go fast and hard then it shouldn't matter.

 

Definately the 589s.

 

I have 26" gators on my rubicon and prefer them over the 589's.
