Went riding this weekend had a blast on some real bony trails. I was headed home down across a big field and when i let off the throtle it almost swapped ends.. Wouldnt ya know I had a flat rear tire. Seems a rock had cut the sidewall on my stock Titan 489. Now am looking to replace atleast the rears. Any suggestions?

ITP Holeshot's (XCT's) Best tire made!!! Also you could try Maxxis Razr's. They have 6 ply sidewalls and are a great ride! Let me know what you decide.

For traction Turf Tamers blow the stock 489's away.

You have a lot of suggestions, and all seem to be the best tires ever made. My suggesstion, is give more information on what type of riding you do, the different surface types, etc. so you can get an accurate answer and not just random tires blurted out.

If it helps do mostly trail riding.. Gets real muddy after even the smallest amount of rain. Throw in a little sand pit riding just for giggles. Thanks for the input guys

The Bearclaws would probaly work great for you. Try stock sizes. Recreation Tires and Chapperal both advertise in the magazines and have good prices.

I run 22"x9"x10" Swampers on the front and 22"x12.5"x10" Swampers on the back. This set up requires a 38 tooth sprocket and a slightly longer chain to keep the front and rear gearing the same. This lowers final drive ratios, increases acceleration and the quads ability to climb and lug through deep mud. I ride in similar conditions as you and this set up has yet to let me down. I've gone through mud well over the tops of the tires with no problems. They provide excellent traction on the rocks and are the closest thing to sand paddles I've seen w/out actually being sand paddles. They've also had
no negative affects on handling.

Check out the Bearclaws by Kenda. 4-Ply and VERY durable. Also look at the ITP Blackwater.

Charrapal Racing on the last page of Dirt Wheels had the best prices! I bought a pair of Bearclaws (25 X 12.5 X 10) for $116 delivered to my door in Texas.
