I just got a 1995 Magnum 425cc 2x4. It was running a few weeks ago, and now it won't start. The lights come on when the key is turned, and the battery is holding a charge. When I push the starter button I hear a "click.......click" sound. A buddy suggested that I replace the solenoid. I did. I still have the same problem. There is still a click and it still won't go. Does anyone have any ideas??????? Thanks to everyone who replies!

 

The stater is shot in it...Happens alot to our magnum and tb

 

Before jumping to the starter clean and tighten all the connections at the battry and the silinoid.If that dont work take the starter drive out and be sure it isnt bad now if it dont start go to the starter and put in new brushes and bushings.Tthe starter on my 425 was like new hen I took it off and it has god only knows how many miles on it.

 

will it pull start??? my 94 sp400 i got water in the starter and put new(rebuilt) starter in and elect start dont work but it will pull. i still havent figured out my elect start. o wells goin in monday to get fixed.
