Default what will rejetting do to a quad

will rejetting a quad give it more power, speed, accell or what? i have a z400

all of the above...but all the rejetting in the world won't do much unless you have an aftermarket exhaust and better intake...

would it make a difference if just get a pipe but no intake

could i rejet it and ride it until i get a pipe and the engine would be fine or wouldnt it matter.

Default what will rejetting do to a quad

When you jet your carb it will need more air intake. You can rejet and ride till you get a pipe but you will probably have to work with the jetting again when you put the pipe on. I would wait till you get everything and do it all at once, tunning your carb isn't fun.
