Default V Force 700 in the woods

I am selling the Sportsman and thinking of the 700 Kawasaki, I like the looks and the auto tranny sounds pretty slick. Does anyone have opinions how they are in the woods; cornering, ground clearance etc, with 22" tires the ground clearance should be better than other sport quads? how is the suspension for rocks? any comments from current 700 owners would be great, thanks.

I did a little rock crawling in the mountains this weekend. I was pleased with the 22" wheels and slow crawl power. I wish I had removed the nerfs though.

I live in the mountains of New hampshire and I have a sportsman 500 and just bought a V force.and have no problems going where I go on my 4x4 in the woods....Do recommend full skids for woods ridding though.Just try to stay out of the mud You will get stuck with stock tires.

Love it, having done a ton of riding in the woods with my 700, there isn't another 2WD quad that I have been on that I would pick over it. I have yet to get it stuck (Nasty Mud and all). Another good point about it is that if you can't make it by way of the existing trail, you can make your own.

Its the best 2WD I've ever been on for going through mud. It has just enough extra ground clearance to get you through places other sport quads will get hung up on.

Mine is absolutely great in the woods. I haven't found a place it can't go. I have no problems keeping up with the 4x4's. It will even go through water almost deep enough to fish in. LOL! Ditto on the skids though. I think most 4x4's come already equipped with them. www.dgperf.com has all the skids you need. It's hard to find them anywhere else.

I sold my SP700 to get the V Force, and I have had not one regret for doing so. I go everywhere my 700 went (sometimes around it) but I have a lot more fun with the V. As far a woods riding, just look at the GNCC results on the V Force, and you will clearly see, this is where the V shines the most.
