How Do I Adjust Suspension???

I've never tried adjusting my suspension and I wanted to ask is if theirs any tools I need to adjust my shocks.Any suggestions on setting them would be appreciated.

a spanner wrench, rubber mallet and long screwdriver (standard), or just a set of strong hands
in front rotate the cam udjusters to tighten or loosen the spring preload (how much the springs are compressed/stiff or soft)
in back, loosen the lock nut and tighten/loosen the large nut at the top of the spring for pre-load.
turn the screw on the reservoir to adjust how fast the shock compresses.
adjust the screw at the bottom of rear shock for rebound.
