Default Raptor Oil Changes/Oil tank Pipe

When changing oil on Raptor, it seems a lot easier and cleaner to disconnect the oil pipe from the tank to the engine, right at the engine, in order to drain the tanks oil. The way the book recommend is to drain the tank, what a sloppy mess unless you fab a little funnel out of a oil bottle....

Anybody had any bad experiences to report about disconnecting the pipe at the engine..instead.....?

I was looking into getting a new oil line made up with quick disconnects but nothing has materialized yet or putting the coupler right on the tank. if there were only 25 hours in the day

Mine is an '03 LE, and the oil pipe to the engine has a compression fitting right at the engine. Seems perfect for disconnecting and reconnecting....

Is that different than yours.?
