Thats right guys i got a little money saved up and i was planning on buying a project Cannondale or a YFZ, but instead the wife and i agreed on getting the toy hauler!!.. i just got to sell my 12' cargo trailer and 17' Nomad travel trailer.... to afford it so it will probably take a month or two to get that all straightend out. Any recomendations.. would like to keep it less than 13-14 grand.. and 24' or less.. would really love to find one that has the built in cargo trailer.. ie.. 12' of camper and 12' of seperated cargo room.. well if ya guys have any recomendations please tell.. ohh this year at the dunes is going to be way more comfortable than the bed of the truck!!
im excited.

well jet a couple of things were thinking about at our house is we run a truck camper, and open trailer, the problem being the rides are out to the public at night. so were looking at weekend warriors also, but the problem of rides out at night is still there. since we have a camper were starting to think of a enclosed trailer, keeping our rides safe at night. the haulers are larger on the inside, but since we ride with a large group in general we find we are out at the fire instead of in the trailers, so one thing i find funny is i sleep in a queen sized bed and so do the trailers. point being is if you just plan to sleep in the camper only it might be a better choice, plus it would save you a lot of money also, plus if like us we have a ski boat, still able to use both. now if you want to talk what i think the best set up is a motor home and a enclosed trailer, security plus nice quarters. just my thoughts on a few areas. but you have to worry if you can get you motor home to were you want to ride, back to the camper with a 4 wheel drive truck, go figure are any the best for everything? just glad i'm a carpenter and have a gas compressor to re air my tires.

thanks for the advice guys, but i cant do a in bed camper or a fifth wheel... see my 01 F250 Superduty has 10" lift, making fifth wheels and in bed campers out of the question

Check out "sport trailers" they can custom make it how ever you want, there's another place called swancreek I think that can do the same. Tahoe makes something called a pack-rat that's like what you are talking about but not as big.
