I bought a K&N power kit. the kit includes a stage 1 and 2 dynojet kit. I am on the stage 1 kit. so far I've replaced the pin, with the aftermarket one, and i only have 1 e-clip, and a washer on top of the aftermarket pin (at 3 groves). is this right? Also, (don't say i'm retarted) I can't find the stock main jet!!! I am putting a 142 in it cuz i live in SW Pennsylvania. Please help fast

 

Yer not retarted and everything so far sounds pretty much right to me. The main jet is located underneath the carb. there is a nut you have to unscrew from the bottom and then the jet is up inside the carb. be patient and the rest of the job is pretty easy

ok.. i have stock exhaust.. and i know what nuts and pins to use.. thanks for the help, i will go install the main jet now, then do the thing with the fuel mixture screw. did you notice when you jetted yours that all the stage 2 kit is, is running your quad without the airbox lid, haha what a rip! i'll reply again with results, thanks

 

the air screw 3 half turns out, don't forget the adapter.

Southwestren PA, uhhh.. 45 min. south of Pittsburgh.. town called Perryopolis. I ride at webster, by the red caboose. My profile says WV or Virgina or something, but I just made a quick name, cuz i got booted off of my old one . I also ride at stonybrook, and other places.

'00 400ex, stage 2 dyno jet-kit, All the K&N stuff, and i painted the header pipes red, and the header pipe protector black. It looks nice, i'll haev pics soon
