Default WARN ATV Plow Actuator

I have a 2001 Sportsman 400 with a Polaris Deluxe 60" plow - manual lift. I just saw where Warn is making an electric plow lift called the "Warn ATV Plow Actuator". It's similar to a winch.....but it mounts to the plow, not the ATV. I think it's rated for 150lbs...

Does anyone have one? Does it work well? Can I mount it to a Polaris plow?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks Shawn

Probably a nice and expensive device... but up here a lot of guys just go to the scrap yard and get a power window motor with the lifting/lowering arm from a car door, mount it to the top of their front racks with 2 u-bolts, add switch, connect it to the battery, and install a piece of cable from the arm to the plow....and voila....a cheap and very powerful lift/lowering mechanism for your plow.

I'm not sure a window motor would lift my plow.....it's pretty heavy. I might have to try it.

The cheapest I saw the Plow Acutator (on the net) was for $146.00..
