scrambler 400 4x4 belt rubbing

Default scrambler 400 4x4 belt rubbing

ok guys i need help.i have a 95 scrambler 400 4x4 runs great never had a problem with it.went out riding yesterday got into alot of mud.when i got home i noticed a grinding rubbing noise coming from the left side clutch housing.felt like the belt was rubbing on the housing,the machine still run fine.if i pushed on the housing a little bit the noise would somewhat go away.
can anyone tell me what this is and how i can fix it.is this real bad should i bring it to a dealer?

well take the cover off and see whats up. If its full of mud and junk clean it off. let us know whats up with it?

can mud get into there?i thought this was really bad.

Your cover probably has shrunk man. This is common with the old covers for some reason they sometimes will all of a sudden shrink

ok guys i took the caseing off,the belt looks fine and there was no mud inside or anything.it is rubbing the the front side of the plastic the round part.is there any was to tell what is wrong?is there any aliment of these?or do i need to buy a new one.
