I'm looking for the absolute best drag porting that can be done for a stockbore drag racing application... I need everyone to pitch in there opinion on who I should send these cylinders too... Also I have seen dyno charts comparing the new T6's to the CPI's... The CPI's looked bad compared to the new pipes.... Of course this is on a non-ported bike... Will the CPI's outperform the T6's after porting ? or are the new pipes the new king...

 

cpi's are better on a drag ported motor, as that is what they are intended for. The T-6's are designed for stock/slightly modified trail bikes. Rudy Kurtz is awesome with stock/small bore banshee's, so is A&S and patriot racing.

I agree with DaBeechMan of the CPI pipe. Another place to look into is Whinte knuckle Motorsport out of Portland Or. He did mine motor and put the CPI pipe. On the dyno that he have at the shop I got about 73 H/P and about 40 lb of troque. I was please the work he have done. Great guy to work with.

 

kurtz, A&S, patriot, as well as a few other all have dyno charts showing 350 banshee's making 90 horses. I recently saw a patriot 350 make 94 horse with inframes

 

I highly reccomend K&T for a big-bore motor, or Grand river racing (GRR) for a stock bore dragster. They have a 90+ hp stock bore dragster kit that's supposed to be FAST! There is a lot of pipes out now that might be worth looking into. For inframes, I suggest CPI's for drag, T6 for trail. For out of frame drag pipes new Hallucinogen pipes, Shearer pipes, GRR, and CPI all have good ones.

Jim the owner of jim sand toys at LS has a 350 banshee that runs 4.20's. you can look at his web site or call him to get there number. Kip(dune trash racing has been one of the fastest guys at LS for sometime now.

he will always be around to help you tune the bike after its built. not just answer questions on the phone. the other guys are not local.

poncho also does a good job. he will have about 5 bikes at sandfest for you to watch run

 

I used to be a banshee man... the cpi pipes are the best on the market!!! Im from the midwest and there are a couple of builders actually around me that are building banshees that run as well as or better than kt bikes!
