got my clutch springs this week and im puttin them in tonight so i can ride this weekend. i got one question on the secondary. what holes should i put it in. its the gold rcr spring. thanks.

Wait !!!

Mark the helix and clutch shieve before you undo the clip , do this so you get it would to the correct tension . If it is wound to loose it will work worse than stock .

dam it i just saw this as of now and i been ridin for a hour now. it picks up a lot faster sounds better isnt worse than stock maybe i got lucky and put it right?? but thanks rick runs great wheelies like crazy now and the tires spin like crazy. the only thing i noticed is theres a sound coming from the cylinder, its like a click/pop noise but it only happeans wen u let off the throttle from having the engine at really high rpms. also i think it is suppose to do this it revs before it engages thats suppose to happean right??

 

It sounds like you did it right .

The *click ~pop * may be what we call pinging . You may need to richen the carb settings . What size mainjet is in it ?

 

ahhh i believe its a 160. im at 0-400 elevation. and what size should i get for the winter up 2 sizes??

 

I know you have some portwork done from your signature . If it was me I would put in a 180 and see if it will take it , then , if not drop to a 170 . When I jet I like to find out what too rich is and then drop down one at a time til I find the size I need .

well when i take the spark plug out it is black and dry so i dont really know.
