With the release of the TRX450R things are starting to get very
interesting in the atv ranks.
Just think Honda and Yamaha fighting it out with 2 awesome models.
Now if Polaris , Suzuki, Kawasaki,Arctic Cat,and Bombardier all made
450 racers the would be grate for the sport. I have the YFZ450, Is it
better then the 450R( I DON'T Know ) am I going to rip on the Honda boys
HELLLL NO. This is exactly what we need, the manufactures fighting it
out,upgrading every year to stay on top, not just the same old machine
with BOLD NEW GRAPHICS. I am just like everyone else I want my Quad to
win the shootout but if it doesn't I think Yamaha "in this case" will be
forced into making some changes for next years model. I hope the Quads
get the same attention as the Dirtbikes do. If that happens we all win!
See, It has already started Honda through the first low blow $400 bucks
worth. If my dream here comes true we will get better Machines for less
$$. ( And don't say you already can the Honda I covered that, Besides I
paid $6300 for my YFZ)

Could you guy's just give it a chance,you all judge a book by it's cover all day,im just glad they made a race quad,and honda has always been tough as nails..

 

Where did you get a YFZ for $6300? Was that Out the door price? Out here in CA, near Sanfran they wanted $7800 out the door!! But I agree, hopefully long gone are the days when a new quad is released and the only thing that changes is the color scheme from year to year. What will help is if Yamaha picks up a factory racer like honda, so they can race new stuff one year then put it on the production bikes the next, just like the dirt bikes. Then we, the weekend warriors will truly win, IMO.
