I heard a friend mention that you could buy a new fork for your three wheeler to convert it into a 4 wheeler. I have a 200s 1984 Honda. and wanted to try to convert it into a 4 wheeler if i could to make it a little safer incase my GF wanted to go Trail blazin [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] just a thought if anyone knows where i could find one to order or find someone to make me one.

I turned my ATC350X into a quad, I welded the front frame off my old suzuki lt230 onto the mid frame of the honda. Its pretty nifty, but I kinda regret the conversion. If I could have found a cheap 250X frame to mount the 350 motor in I would have opted for that.

 

dont do that...sell your three wheeler and buy a four wheeler. you will save money in the long run and you will have a better machine that you will be able to sell later if you decide you dont want it. they used to sell conversion kits in the 80s (and I think they still do) and they seriously depreciated the value of the machine they were put on, plus the cost between 1500-2500 dollars. $.02

 

dont change your three wheeler into a 4 wheeler! whats wrong with you. they quit making them because some sissies werent hardcore enough to handle them.

 

i have a three wheeler and a four wheeler. I perfer to ride my three wheeler cause to me it is more fun.

 

I would also like to know if there are any companys out there that still make theese conversion kits. I have an old '86 200x in near perfect condition that I would love to convert for my son. I think he would be better off learning on a 4 wheeler than a 3.

 

Can you make a 4 wheeler into a 3 wheeler, you know like a Raptor into a ATC????

It is stupid to ruin a perfectly good trike like that. Its not worth it! Also if your son learns on a 3 wheeler he will be a much better rider. Just put a block in the throttle.
