Just wondering if the v force is any good in the snow. I had a mojave and it stunk in the snow. I now have a KFX400 which will more than likely be worse. We have a KFX80 that is a blast in the snow- it goes great!!! Im thinking its the auto trans-
which makes me think the 700 might go good. anyone know ?

They work ok. I had about 2 weeks driving in snow late last winter . You may wany to get a paddle tire if the snow is over 6 inches with a good base. The wide tiresa provide good floatation but if you get any amount of snow where you live, get some sand tires

I will be trying my V-Force in the snow in about 1 or 2 months. I think it will do fairly good until you get to the real deep stuff, like 2 feet or something then you just better not stop.
My experience with my outlaws, which basically have paddles, is not a good one in snow. All aggressive mud tires are not good in snow as they dig way to much. Sand tires I would think be the same way as they have a big lug. They will work well when your moving but once you stop or find the deep stuff I don't think they are best tire. I could be wrong though, with the power and lightness of a sport quad it cold very well work. I have some pro wedge tires that I used on my Z400 last winter and did they make all the difference, it was night and day. I will try them again on my V-Force and see how well they work.
Also being an automatic we will need to be carefull on how much throttle we use or else we might find ourselves high centered from to much wheel spin. I can't wait till the snow flys.

When I ran my V last MArch, There was about 2 feet of heavy snow on a good base. It slipped a bit but once I got going, those ITP's floated on top of the snow. Now this was settled snow with several above freezing days/ below freezing nites cycles with min fresh. If you have say 6 inches of fresh , you will dig down till she bites then once you have speed, you will float.
One must be carefull not to get a lot of speed say on an established sled trail across a lake then maybe have one tire slip off the hard pack and into a foot or 2 of fresh snow. This front tire then could sink in the snow with the opposite side possibly still accelerating causing the steering to jackknife towards the fresh snow side and may result in throwing the rider over the bars with a very good chance of the bike flipping on top of that rider bending the opposite radius rod on maybe the second day that rider owned the bike.

I mean I am only saying this "could" happen
