out of state buying?

Default out of state buying?

is it true that I don't have to pay taxes on a atv is I buy out of state? just show your liscense?

I don't know about your state but I was able to pick mine up in Kansas with no sales taxes.
Tecincaly they're susposed to deliver it to not have to pay taxes but the salesman helped me out.

Heck, Oregon has no sales tax.....yet... I'm sure that's a little far to drive though.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Most states are different but if you buy in another state you don't pay the tax then but when you register it in your state they'll collect the taxes then.

i live in cali i bought my yfz in oregon and i didnt have to pay any taxes. I also just got a oregon sticker.

did the dearlership ask to see your liscence or something. couldn't you just say you were from out of state to get the discount? does this deal apply to other things or just atv's?

Default out of state buying?

I bought my Raptor in PA and had to show my VA driver's license to avoid PA sales tax. Since we don't have to register ATVs in VA, I didn't have to pay sales tax here either.
