Default Cold start problems with Grizz

Friend of mine has problems starting his '03 Grizz when it is cold. Any advice from other owners would be appreciated.
Thanks

change the plug and since its colder out now, you may be lean. Richen it up a little on the idle ckt, I like a 1/2 turn out on the fuel screw.

My friend had that problem on his raptor. He had to flood it to get it started. We tried a plug, and messed with the carbs. Then decided to check the valve adj. 4 out of the 5 were out of adj. we adjusted them and put it back togather and it runs great.

I would definetly start with the plug first though.

Thanks everyone,
Adjusted the valves. We will see how much that helps when we get colder weather.
