though that story was sad, they were riding in the dark because it was after 9p.m. and there were at least 4 or 5 kids on the quad at the time on the street.

 

Very sad story and I feel bad for those who lost their children. But I have to ask, why were there 5 kids on 1 quad and HOW is that possible? What were they hanging on...? That makes it bad for the sensible safe riders.

 

5 kids died and another kid was critically injured so that means there were six of them on there. It's really sad that the kids died specially since it was the car that caused the accident.

 

And as usual, not a word is mentioned about the driver not paying attention and hitting an ATV. I know there shouldnt have been 5 kids on an ATV, but the driver is somewhat at fault too. Very liberalistic journalism.

 

Where the hell were these kids goddamn Parents. Who lets a 10 yr old on an ATV with 5 other people. These poor childrens parents should have been there to stop this. And who leaves the keys to an ATV around when there is no adult supervision and 6 young curious fun loving children and an ATV? This is not a good mix. Im thinking someone needs to look at the parents and or babysitter. Just my $0.02

 

It's sad that these kids had to lose thier lives, but screw their parents. They should have parented their kids better. I hope they never get over it and their lives are ruined.

 

The driver was intoxicated, so she's being charged with manslaughter. Those children should never have been put into that position. 6 on 1 quad? After 9P.M? Shame on whoever was supposed to be responsible for them!!!

 

I agree totally, sad for this to happen, and this is just more "fuel for the fire" for the do-gooders out there who want to get atv's banned
