Default In Search Of A Quad...

Hello out there,

I have decided to move up to a 4 wheels instead of 3 now. Can anyone tell me what would be the best quad for my money. I want to get one that is 4x4 and 400cc or more. I've never even ridden a quad, but I have seen them go places that I couldn't with my 350X. A friend of mine has a Grizzly and he says it has gotten him out of some pretty hairy places. Any help would be great...thanks!!!

Get you a 4x4 Polaris Scrambler. They make 2 models, the 400 and the 500,both the same but differnet motors. The 400 which is a 2-stroke and the 500 which is a 4-stroke.The 400 is not going to be made anymore next year so you probillity could find you a good used one but the 400 would beat the 500 at speed and acceleration. They are still going make the 500's.the 500s had more power than the 400.Scrambler's are the sportiest 4x4 made plus they are automatic.Heres a link to their website Polaris

Looks like you're a honda guy... If the brand served you right (like I bet it has) then stick with honda. I ride with 7 guys that all ride Polaris and they are alway having "issues" with them (including me having to pull em out all the time)... I have had none! Before I would suggest a model you need to tell me your price range and needs...

perhaps a honda rancher would be good for you? they come in 2w or 4 w, 350 or 400 cc, automatic or manual, all kinds of options, and very fun, reliable quads.

Really need more info. If you ride with your buddy all the time try his grizzly. Go to the local ride spot and see if some of the guys will let you take test ride.
