I'm about to buy my first ATV and am considering a Bayou 250 or a 300 4x4. My main concern is that I want a reliable machine under 5000 dollars. I haven't decided if the 4x4 is a necessity. I will be using it for a little trail riding, but mostly driving across pasture land with a few hills, and a few dips in the ground. Also maybe hauling a few items from time to time. Any opinions on which to buy, or comments on personal experience with either of these machines?

 

I would buy a 4wd if you want to do anythingh in the snow.If not I would go for a used bayou 300.It s bullet proof machine. You could buy a used 350 rancher,honda. But if I were you I would buy a 360 kawi. Break down.It's only money.
