Can someone explain the Honda front differential
#1
It must have been asked before but I didn't see it. So, why does honda claim their front differential on their 4x4's puts power to the wheel with traction, when the bike is on a stand, I can hold one tire and the other tire spins freely? I own a 2001 Rubicon and I would think if you held one wheel, it would try to rip it out of your hand. Thanks for any input.

Typical sales Garbo!! Would you buy the 4 wheeler if the salesman said the front diffs don't work??? No limited slip front diffs work except Bombys "Visco lock" . It should read "UNlimited slip" The only way they drive both fronts is if Both tires have equal traction OR Both tires have no traction.

Thanks for the input. I had Highlifters locker in the front but put it back to stock for my girlfriends sake. I was just curious about the whole "torque to the wheel with traction" thing and I can't find out what's going on. I accept it for what it is and what it does. If I got it stuck it's because I was trying to, that's why I got the locker. But my girlfriend had a hard time steering with it.
