I am trying to decide on a winch for my new Foreman 450. I have had Warn winches in the past with no trouble, but I have heard Ramsey's are better and they have a lifetime warranty. The Warn has a 1 year warranty. Seems like people buy the Ramsey because it's cheaper or has the wireless remote. Since I'm not interested in the remote, and the price is the same for me since I live in Alaska (high shipping), I am wanting the best winch of the two. Thanks for your help.

 

id have to say the warn, based only on the fact that i see a whole lot more of them than ramseys. ive never seen any of my friends have any probs with theirs. other than that i really cant say.

 

I would buy a Warn. They are just about the only winch on trucks or bikes aorund here. I have never heard of too many problems. The only winch I have had problems with was a Polaris winch on a sportsman 400.....it was useless!!!!!!
