My little bro has a Eton 40 Rhino but after a day that he got it all muddy it know doesnt accelerate like it did before he went mudding now it goes really slow i thought it could be so mud got in the carb or the throtle cable cuz its kinda rusty and u can pull it out of the the finger thingy let me know what u guys think it is[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

Try cleaning the air filter, the spark plug and check for mud around the strator system. Also check for mud in your braking system, if you think it REVs but won't spin the tires like it used to.

I read on another forum where someone had their mini-quad up on blocks and almost spon the tires off it. The next day, this unit couldn't even pull the rider up a small hill. Lots of revs but it wouldn't go with the light rider weight. If I remember correctly, the person reported one of the flipper arms (or something like that) on his CVT / Clutch system flipped completely over. If you did lots of high rev mud spinning (especially with a very light rider) activities on your previous ride, you may want to inspect your unit's clutch system as well.

If you live in a freezing climate area, don't oil your throttle or brake cables. If the rust on the cables is that visible, replace them. In freezing climate with oiled cables, they may freeze up, and your kid could be stuck with a wide open throttle.

i took it to a friend of mine which is always fixing stuff for me and he thinks its the piston when it switched gears so ima see if the dealer wanna fix it thanks tho [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
