my friends 1992 250x bogs down on steep long hills, is there anything he can do to fix this, or is he just gonna have to live with it???? And what are good mods for this machine, he already has a new pipe for it, so what else is there that wont make him go broke????

 

A WB cam would help the hill problem for your friends 250x. Sorry there is nothing cheap that helps the quad I should know I have tricked 250x 1987.

 

search the forums man.....lots of info on go fast bits for x/ex

try a filter, larger main jet, large header pipe, bigger front sprocket....

 

thanks y'all i'll tell ryan and have him get on the ball with this stuff, but he has a couple hundred dollars to spend on this thing so i dunno what he's gonna do to it, i think he wants it bored and ported but i dunno if he can find anyone to do it that he trusts with this machine, later Y'all
