or you could be like me dumbass cousin that has a predator and more money than he knows what to do with...........and he refuses to use his clutch to shift gears...........only to start off and stop........
geesh......I wish I had the money to give my trans hell and not care.......LoL

I'm your dumbass cousin! I use the clutch lever to keep the engine from stalling and that's pretty much it. I practice this with all my toys; karts, bikes (dirt and street) & quads. That's not to say I don't use it at times, but I don't typically concern myself with it under general conditions. To each his own.
Just roll off the throttle for a split second, shift and you're good. Downshifting? blip it and then shift. It's all in your timing. It's an easy practice to adpot.

Clutch? I though it was a trigger to be used when leaving the line! PULL AND FIRE!!! LOL
I use the cluth when trail riding but NEVER touch it going down the track. Thats my .02 cents

Personally, I'd rather buy a $90 clutch kit than a $900 transmission rebuild. It might not break this time, or the next time, or for the next hundred times; but just think, how much longer would it have lasted if you had clutched?
