Default Raptor Overheating WTF!!!

That damn water temp light kept coming on so I found the thermostat was faulty and changed it. Now the damn thing still comes on after about an hour of riding. I noticed the radiator empty when its cold so I fill it up and leave the puke bottle empty. when it heats up it fills the puke bottle and pukes all of the fluid then cools and doesn't have enough so what do I have to do to keep this damn bike cool?

THe puke bottle as you call it is suppose to have water to start with but i doubt thats the problem..
Is the fan coming on???When i put my raptor back together i plugged the fan plug into the wrong place so instead of the fan coming on the red light came on and the fan can't come on that way..

Is it heating up first or puking water out first?
If it spits the water out THEN heats up because of it you more than likely have a blown head gasket, or possibly a faulty radiator cap.

The fan runs but shuts off when the light does. it pissed me off so it now has a bypass switch. as for the puking issue it fills the bottle pukes then after a short cool down it sucks the bottle dry and still doesn't fill the radiator. I'm going to try a new cap but I have just put this motor together and fairly sure the head gasket is ok.

Is there water in the oil...is water weeping out from near the water pump?

Mine did similar when the pump had a faulty seal

With the quad dead cold you should fill the resv bottle at least half way

Under moving conditions the fan shouldn't be an issue...check the fan switch(top one) and measure the OHMS of resistance...does this reading change as the quad heats up? If not that switch is bad

Are you running a mix of water and anti freeze or straight antifreeze?

I still think head gasket, especially since you said you just put it together, but possibly not. You should know something after you switch radiator caps if you have your fan running all the time. If the new cap doesn't fix it, and the fan is on, its a head gasket (99.9% sure).
What kind of head gasket did you use?

The water pump did seep but I fixed that. I leave the bottle empty because as soon as it warms up it fills the puke bottle anyway and still pukes. I'm running straight Engine Ice antifreeze, and a cometic gasket.

Is it a HP gasket, with the metal ring in between the layers?
