Default CV Boot protectors twisting off

Has anyone had a problem with the plastic Rear CV boot protectors getting knocked off in the rough going? The willows have twisted two off of my 2003 500i manual. They are just cheap plastic things but I thought they would stay on better than that!

Yes, I twisted mine quite a few times and also ripped two CV boots, one up front and one in the rear. And yes, it also happened in the buck brush. I will look for some better protectors or just make my own for next year. As nice as the A-Arms are, they do scoop up those old dry sticks from the bottom up and kind of guide them to the boots (pulled a lot of them out of there...), the AC protectors are just a little help up in front of the boots but just can't do the job.
At www.royaldistributing.com they sell boots and protectors... but I don't know how good these are.

Check out oxlite.com for heavy duty CV guards. You can get these color matched also.
