start below zero?
i live in North Pole, AK. it gets to be about 40-60 below up here in our winters pretty often. I rode at 35 below yesterday. LET THE QUAD WARM UP FIRST. full choke and it will start. but my z does good when it's cold. i've ridden at 42 below and i wouldn't go any colder because i had to turn the idle up a little in order for it to sit and warm up. plus when stuff gets to cold it makes it much easier to break.
o yeah, dress warm and have a cup of coffee waiting at home

start below zero?
How about a glue on heat pad. It works for cars. One problem is seals on shocks and driveline failing in extream temps. Make shure to use synthetics and a windshield / hand muffs and hot grips Don't forget to adjust air pressure the colder it is the more you need. ride on keep warm...

start below zero?
Most people have there bike in a garage where they can put heat on it. But if you had to trailer somewhere and spent the night and the bike sat out all nite would it start at 30 below? Probably not. Maybe it would start with synthetic oil and jumper cables and starting fluid. But I dont know. No body I talked to said they would go riding when it was that cold, but I would.
