Default 12 tooth front sproket ?

I'm having some mild engine mods done right now to my raptor, 11:1 piston, stage 2 cam, new springs, and porting. I just wanted a little more power for the dunes this year. I was told to change the front sproket to a 12 tooth. I bought it but havn't installed it. Should I still put it on when I get my bike back or dont bother since I having those mods done. Can it hurt anything?

It certainly won't hurt anything

However you may find that you have enough power to pull stock gearing

Its worth the $15 or so for the gearing option
