coulds some one tel me how you tighten the rear bearings in the ds 650 carrier i thought most machine had a big 2 way locking nut set up i dont see where you can adjust it very easy if its the way i think it looks like a pain would someone give me some info.

Has anybody done thier rear bearings and gone threw all those steps. Did you guys buy that crowfoot from the dearership, if not how did you set your preload. I am just re doing mine as we speak and need advice.

 

You can use a strap wrench or pipe wrench, but be careful with the pipe wrench on the aluminum axle nut. I just snugged mine up with a strap wrench and backed it off a little. The crowfoot tool would be nice but I don't know how much it would cost.

 

I just ordered it from bombardier. It was $22.00.
