new rhino

Well by five o'clock tonight I will be the proud owner of a new Yamaha Rhino, I have never been much of a Yamaha fan(good bye Rubicon) but I fell hopelessly in love at first site with this monster machine. Needless to say I'm probably paying to much but at $8500.00 as I have found them as cheap as 7995.00 but I'm not going to wait until January! In fact I called 12 different places with in a 200 hundred mile radius and not one to be found:-( all spoken for at least through December.
I will let you all know what I think but from everything I have read I don't think I will be disappointed.

I finally got a whole day to ride the Rhino and I will try to put some of my impressions down here, if I had to sum it up in one word it would be
UNBELIEVABLE! Now please understand I do not have the experience or skill
riding(or driving in this case) that 99.9% of you have here so I guess you need to take my opinions with a grain of salt.
First the steering... very responsive, light, nimble, race car like (for an ATV) and completely unexpected in a vehicle like this. The over all handling will leave you wondering how something that was designed for utility and off road use could deliver this kind of performance. I motored down trails zipping around obstacles at speeds that I simply did not have the guts to do on my Rubicon.
Hill climbing, again I tackled terrain that I could not began to do with the Rubicon, now that is not to say the Ruby couldn't do it in more capable hands but I know this rider couldn't :-)
Oh did I mention the ride! this is got to be the Cadillac of ATVs, cushy form fitting bucket seats, seat belts and it left me wondering where the air bags were :-)
With all of the above in mind how well will the Rhino hold up? in three weeks will I be writing about what a piece of crap this thing is because of all the stuff that fell off, blew up or just plane broke? Don't know, only time will time tell I guess, I have always owned Honda bikes and the Rubicon has proved to be bullet proof to this point but keep in mind that I probably don't push these things near as hard as most of you.
It is my thought that if you gave this machine a try most of you might end up tossing your conventional ATVs I really feel that strongly about the Rhino at least at this time.
The only downside to the Rhino I can think of is the fact it did not come with the Grizzly LCD display, you would have thought for the price it would have. The other thing is the fact it will probably be band from most public ATV riding areas, over all size wise it really is not much larger than most "big" ATVs but the weight seems to be the issue. This would be a real bummer:-(
