I was just wondering what changes needed to be made to the carb in order to run alky, i know i asked this some of the same questions in the yamaha forum but there was one question i didnt' get answered and i didn't feel like bugging biggerisbetter anymore. Like what exactly needs to be changed in the carb (jets, needle, what not)? I heard the jets needed to be bigger, how much bigger, is there some kind of conversion kit? Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

It really varies from person to person. On Banshee's for instance some people use dial-a-jets, some don't. Most drill the carbs with a drill bit, run different needles and pilots. Also need fuel petcock mods. I'm sure there's several combo's that work on any one carb.
