+2 A-arms, will I need +2 rear axle?
#1
I just got new JD Performance =2 A-Arms for mt quad. Will I need to replace the rear axle to make it +2 or +4 also. Axles are expensive so I really don't want to. How will it handle different if I leave it stock? I heard I can use spacers, but I'm afraid they are not very safe b/c of breakage.

You won't "Need" to get an axle but you'll be happy you did when you get one. I have a friend who's still running the stock axle on his YFZ with +3 arms on the front!! Looks pretty goofy but it will have to do until he gets the axle.
I run a lonestar axcalibar axle, which is adjustable from +1 1/2 to +3 1/2 or so. Also has a lifetime warranty against bending/breakage.
Spacers are a no-no in my book. Nuf said.

i have 2 rappy's now. one stock width. one with the lonestar axle and +1 wheels up front. you will need the axle no doubt. more than the arms. the stock setup is so narrow. i went riding today witha buddy. we switched back and forth a couple of times and it was night and day differance. slids, less tippy. but still not even clase to the handling of a yfz. jmo
