would raising the exhaust ports result in quicker revving? and what are some things I can do for a harder hitting powerband? lighten the flywheel maybe? thanks

 

I do not believe raising the exhaust port will do that for a blaster. When you do that you increase lift in port timing but loose compression at the same time. It would rev. a higher rpm but not faster revs.

With all the mods. you have I would install a Vito's 4 degree advance key and Vito's jet kit for the carb.

 

my carb is already jetted properly. I think I will get the degree key before christmas.

 

rotating mass,get a wiseco piston and connecting rod,or if you can a titanium rod.
