Klunking noise when braking hard on 500s
#1
Hi guys wonder if you ever came across this before when your doin about 40-50mph then slam on the brakes really hard theres a klunking noise almost like the rear drive shaft bolts are hitting something I don't know if thats what it is, but i'm wondering if anyone else has this problem. I"ve noticed it on my 2002 and 2003 500s! What do you think it could be?

how many miles do you have on your cat.
how long have you owned it.
when this happens are you in 2 or 4 wheel drive.
is it still under warrenty.
and if it is take to the dealer and tell them what its doing.
but dont tell them how fast your going when it dose it or they might say your beating the $h!t out of it
and might try and void your warrenty.

I only have 300 miles on it the funny thing is i had a 2002 and traded in for a 2003 because of the motor up grade. My 2002 only had 165 miles on it but they maneged to do the same thing , I don't know i guess i'll have to go to the dealer but i'm wondering if its a common problem. Thanks for the advice!
