how fast is it

 

The older models (2 stroke 250cc) where probably a bit faster than the newer 4 stroke 330cc IMO. Polaris has made it too clumbersum IMO...to much like the explorer. I've only been on the newer model one time and wasn't at all impressed. The trailblazer still offers the same amount of zip from the fading 250 class. It all really depends on your definiton of "fast". I do know that my 98 Trail Boss won't stay with my buddies 500 Sportsman with three people on it and it's more that twice as heavy by itself. The difference is the feel...a lighter machine feels fun and fast and is a joy to ride. I don't like the huge monsters these companys are coming out with right now...and their getting bigger by the year.

 

In the flats the fastest I have gotten my Trail Boss is 40.9mph
Going downhill it was 45.

 

thats it, mine gos 56.25mph thats on a flat road with a new clutch spring and some weight taken off.down hill you might be able to to get 60mph haven't tried thought.

 

Hi My 2003 330 Trail Boss will do consistantly in the 53Mph range with a Gps and checked against my a quad with a speedo. It does take a nice long road to get up there. Why does the spell check take me to a sponsers Link ?

 

just checked my stock '00 325 with my new gps this weekend. on pavement 1/2 mile run from dead start, fastest was 46.1
