i heard a banshee has a fast top speed

 

It's true. But stock for stock, be ready to get walked on if you are on the Banshee. Once aftermarket things are on both machines, it's a tight race. My cousin has a 450 with a Pro Circuit Ti-4 pipe, GYT-R air filter, and YZ cam and it's not an easy win on my Banshee that is setup for SX. I win every time once I'm in 6th, but who races top speed anyway. The race is at the hole shot through about 3rd gear. Actual top speed for the stock Banshee is probably around 75 or so (feel free to correct me)- its been so long since I was on a stock Banshee. The 450 is about the same right out of the box but if you get rid of the pipe plug (baffle) it will open her up just a little more. The 450 will get up to top speed a lot quicker than a Banshee (stock) though.
