My dome has some pretty deep marks from the piston. See the pictures on my picture page on the left (not the link below). Is this head toast or can something like this be salvaged with some milwork?

I can't see your pictures , but it is very unusual that I can't save a head . When a head is remachined to raise compression we remove all the damage in the proccess . This work costs $50 .
