hey everybody I was wondering if you guys could help me. I just baught a 1986 trx 250r my friend that i baught it from said he just put a brand new shifter seal in but it always seems to leak. I dont know what is wrong i just got one and havent got a chance to look at it yet well hopefully some one can help

 

He probably busted the case when the chain fell off. This is a common problem.

 

or he bent the shift shaft when the chain came off
