What is too big or what don't ride good , aluminum wheels or steel . Just tell me what works for you guys or girls ?

Stick with aluminum. Big advantage due to rotating mass. I prefer to stick close to the stock size on the tires unless you are planning on doing some pretty extensive mods. Larger tires take away leverage from the engine and rob you of that "suck you off the handlebars" torque the grizzlies possess. However, if you are going to be hitting alot of mudflats or deep sinkholes you may want a bit more bite than the stockers give.

i agree with kraw i put mudlite 2610-12 front and 26x12-12 rear and love the ride.did lose some top end speed but where i ride here in ky theres too much mud and rocks to do 60mph.

i have itp alunimum rims, with a good offset to them. i love the wider stance, for stability, along with cornering. i put on 26 in titan 589 m/t tires. i also lost some top end, along with takeoff. i added an exhaust, jetts, and a k&n to get it back. i love my titans too! great hard pack ride, super in the mud also. only downfall i have found with them is in the sand. my brother has gators, and they do better in sand.

If you mud run a lot, I'd go 26x10 Outlaws (front) and 26x12 Outlaws (rear).

Default TIRES AND WHEELS FOR THE GRIZZLY

Hello everyone,

I plan on purchasing a 2004 Yamaha Grizzly 660 LE next year and I like the ITP C-Series wheels with the 25' Mud Lites.

Does anyone have this combination? If so, does it rob more power?

Thanks,

IronBear..

I have 26" mudlites and it took some speed, but that is it. You will notice a diff.

Don't get the 25", get the 26" with the bigger lugs eBay, 275 shipped.

I could be mistaken, but I THINK the C-series are lighter then the stock AL rims. I'm gonna get some next summer
